

The Rowans Hospice is an independent charity which delivers Specialist Palliative Care, utilising the skills of a multi-professional team to patients with complex symptoms who require specialist skills beyond what can be provided by local primary care services. The key objectives of the hospice are to alleviate suffering, maintain dignity and to promote quality of life. The Rowans Hospice costs over £3.7 million to run each year and we rely heavily on voluntary contributions of time and money from the local communities to maintain our services to the local community.
All of our services are provided free, irrespective of diagnosis and do not discriminate on the basis of race, colour, creed, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, age or financial means.
